There is, for me at least, everything to love about NCIS! First of all, Mark Harmon is the greatest “eye candy” in the world. Second, Abby is the best developed and most fascinating character I have ever watched. The remaining characters are all highly entertaining, and even when they seem shallow their very shallowness bespeaks character development more than dramatic failures. “Ducky”, of course, ties my generation to our old admiration for “The Man from UNCLE” and is fascinating and somehow bears continuity to the current series. Then the stories remain fresh and surprising in spite of the number of seasons NCIS already has behind it. There is science and culture to be learned and unfailing capacity to entertain. The show is funny, serious, interesting, accessible, and fascinating. I just love it!
